The Windsor Court Hotel announces the opening of Cocktail Bar at Windsor Court, the hotel’s new lobby bar created as part of the recent $22 million restoration of the entire property. The aptly named Cocktail Bar at Windsor Court is helmed by recently appointed hotel mixologist Christine Jeanine Nielsen.
The Windsor Court Hotel announces a $22 million restoration of the entire property, redefining five-star luxury in New Orleans. This includes new décor in all 316 guestrooms and suites, a refurbished Club Level lounge; a reconcepting of the celebrated Le Salon, a refresh of The Grill Room, The Polo Club Lounge, the pool area and meetings spaces; and the addition of a lobby bar and spa.
This fall and spring, New Orleans residents and Windsor Court guests will have an opportunity to become true wine connoisseurs with a little help from The Grill Room’s highly regarded Sommelier, Sara Kavanaugh. On Wednesday, October 5 at 6 pm, The Grill Room will launch its new Wine Class Series with a focus on “Old World Wine vs. New World Wine.”
The Windsor Court Hotel announces the launch of its free, feature-filled mobile guest application designed specifically for the Apple iPhones®. The new app allows current and future guests to have a richer, more rewarding travel experience by tapping into the collective knowledge of the experienced Windsor Court concierge team. On September 17 at 2 p.m., the Windsor Court will host a special “Mommy Time Out Tea” in The Grill Room for mothers to get together, catch up and enjoy quality time with their friends. This special Tea will provide local moms with an opportunity to savor a new culinary approach to tea, with specialty tea sandwiches, scones and delicacies from the Grill Room’s pastry chef.

On January 18th, Chef Andrew Dzejak, executive chef of The Grill Room at the Windsor Court Hotel, will travel to New York to prepare hors d’oeuvres and dessert for Carino’s 9th Anniversary VIP reception at the James Beard Foundation. Carino member hotel executives and top travel professionals will get to sample dishes from the hotel group’s top five chefs.
