Families are welcome at the Windsor Court Hotel. If you can drag your youngsters away from our big outdoor pool and sundeck, we make a great base for exploring the nearby family-friendly attractions along the riverfront and around the city.

• Walk three blocks to the riverside Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.
• Next door, IMAX thrills with three shows on a spectacular 5 and 1/2-story screen.
• Right in front of the Aquarium, hop aboard a riverboat and cruise up the Mississippi River to the world-class Audubon Zoo or ride a streetcar through the Garden District and walk through Audubon Park.
• Sample our mysterious swamps. Youngsters love putt-putting around swamps in a tour boat or zooming around swamps in an airboat.
• The Louisiana Children's Museum in the Warehouse Arts District always has interactive and educational activities going on. 
• Carriage rides around the Quarter show off authentic architecture with an entertaining spiel from the driver. And French Quarter streets are a constant parade of odd characters, street artists, performers, mimes and musicians.        

Back where you began, at the Windsor Court Hotel, take the children to tea in Le Salon.
