New General Manager Announced at Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans
19 February 2008
Bruno Brunner is one of the company’s most experienced General Managers and since February 2004 has been overseeing another Orient-Express property, Reid’s Palace in Madeira, Portugal. While there he managed a comprehensive renovation program including the construction of a new spa and fitness facility. Prior to joining Orient-Express Hotels, Bruno held management positions with St Regis, Shangri La, Rosewood and Hyatt.
Brunner replaces Ashish Verma, who resigned as General Manager of the Windsor Court earlier this year. Orient-Express Hotels would like to place on record its thanks for Verma’s hard work and commitment during his three years at the hotel, during some of the hardest times experienced both at the property and the City of New Orleans. The company wishes him every success for the future.
