The Royal Family - Crystal Trinh
Position: Banquet Server
Year of Service: 5 Years
Within the first few minutes of speaking with Crystal, it is clear why she has been a loyal member of the Windsor Court family. A recent recipient of the ‘Employee of the Year’ award in January, she has a great sense of pride not only in providing the best possible service experience for the guest, but in being an Ambassador for one of the finest hotels in the world. As a Banquet team member, Crystal is amongst a team who is held to the highest of standards. This position is particularly fitting for Crystal as she takes great pride in the work that she does and this is evident in the guest feedback that we receive.
Crystal identifies the best part of working here at the Windsor Court Hotel is being able to meet and help so many different people from all over the world. She says that even though we have a good bit of repeat customers, it’s the guests from the far away reaches of the world that really make it worthwhile. A few weeks ago, she was working an event where she was interacting with a multi-national organization that holds considerable influence in world-markets. Being that close to and helping some of the world’s most influential leaders was an amazing experience.
Favorite Windsor Court Moment:
When asked, Crystal identifies that her favorite Windsor Court Hotel moment was when she was able to watch and hear Stevie Wonder play here live for a political fundraiser. She says even though there were many famous and well-known people here, watching Stevie Wonder play “Superstition” was the highlight of the evening. It was just awesome!
Crystal is a self-proclaimed foodie! Crystal was asked what her favorite dishes are and she absolutely could not pinpoint a dish that was her favorite. However, when pressed, she immediately stated she loves homemade Pho because it’s comfort food to her. Additionally, Crystal loves to travel and has made stops in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Italy and several places around the United States. Having traveled to those places, it’s no wonder Crystal holds such a high regard for food! Also, she states that if this interview would have happened a few weeks from, she would have a lot more favorite foods and travel locations because she is about to be leaving on a cruise for some much needed, well and deserved, rest and relaxation!
