The Royal Family - Troy Jarvis

Troy Jarvis

Troy Jarvis

Position: Doorperson

Years of Service:  16 Years 10 Months

Daniel or Troy as he is more affectionately known has been an integral part of the guest arrival team at the Windsor Court Hotel for almost two decades. At 20 years old, he began his career in the guest services department starting as a car hiker and then became a bellperson before settling into his current role as a doorperson.

As a doorperson and a team member of the guest services department, Troy is amongst a team who is held to the highest of standards. Whether a warm welcome or a fond farewell the guest services department employees strive to ensure to leave a lasting Windsor Court impression with every one of our beloved guests as they are typically the first and last employees to interact with the guest. This position is particularly fitting for Troy as he takes great pride in the work that he does and this is evident in the guest feedback that we receive. He always puts forth the very best effort that he can.

When not working, Troy likes being the hotel’s biggest sports fan. He is definitely the Windsor Court Hotel’s sports go to guy.

Favorite Windsor Court Moment

“After almost 17 years, there have been a lot of amazing moments at the hotel, but my favorite Windsor Court moment would have to be meeting my beautiful wife. Having a chance to see my favorite athletes through the years has also been pretty amazing! Having started when I was only 20 years old, I have formed wonderful relationships with my co-workers and with all of our repeat guests. This by far is what I not just like about working here but what I love. Being able to not only call all of those great people my friends but my second family is really special. My relationships here cannot and will not ever be duplicated.”
